The Grand Templars’ Song

Come all your Grand Templars, who wander round the globe,

Who wear the badge of liberty, I mean the Royal Robe.

The mighty staff of Moses and Aaron’s Iron Rod,

Will lead you through the Red Sea to the promised land of God.

And when I think of Moses, it causes me to blush,

That day upon Mount Horeb where he spied the Burning Bush.

His sandals he cast off his feet, his staff he threw away,

And as a pilgrim he did wander until his dying day.

Noah was upright in the sight of the Lord.

He loved the Freemasons and kept the Royal Word.

‘Twas he built the first ship and planted the first vine,

And his glory in heaven, like an angel’s doth shine.

Three dazzling lights I saw, that filled me with surprise,

And gazing all around me, I heard a dreadful noise.

The serpent passed me by, I bent unto the ground,

And with joy, peace and gladness, the Secret I found.
